Rachel Llanes (pronounced "Yahn-ehz") is the Founder and Lead Gardiner of The Gardin Group. She has her master’s in Counseling with a specialization in Marriage & Family Therapy. Prior to starting The Gardin Group in 2022, Rachel developed and delivered trainings on peak performance, leadership, and resilience to the U.S. Military. Rachel's vision and mission in life is to take what science and academia knows of human flourishing (i.e. happiness, success, and health) and translate it into non-psychobabble, concrete, bottom-line behaviors that anyone can immediately start integrating into how they live, love, and lead.
Josabel is a highly sought out behavior change specialist whose expertise is the nexus between whole health, science, and psychology. Her academic background is in Exercise & Sports Science & Health and Wellness Management. Prior to joining The Gardin Group, Josabel created and delivered in-person and virtual trainings to the U.S. Military, designed to empower service members to improve their overall well-being and optimize their work-life balance. Her passion is to empower people to unlock their full potential by coaching healthy habits and small behavior changes in the various facets of health and wellness.
Samantha has her master's in Sport & Performance Psychology from the University of Denver. Her work with athletes and professionals is founded on the intersection of mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Sam's passion stems from her career in competitive gymnastics, collegiate diving, and teaching yoga and meditation. In addition to her work with The Gardin Group, she is the founder of Rise Performance—a mental performance company geared towards supporting gymnasts, divers, and adults 50+ to overcome mental barriers and experience more focus and passion in sport and at work.
Jessica is our Corporate Wellness expert. Over the last 20 years, she has taken a deep dive into the world of health & wellness. She has her Bachelor's Degree in Community Health & Exercise Science, and has since broadened her scope of practice to health coaching, personal training, nutrition, and yoga. Through her personal experience with burnout, Jessica developed a cure for corporate burnout. Her wellness program provides the structure that overwhelmed employees need to become happier, healthier, and therefore more productive at work. Her passion is helping people take a long, hard look at themselves, identify where they want to be, and help them get there.
Morgan is a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT). She has worked with a variety of populations in both group and individual settings. Morgan is most invigorated when helping clients understand how their attachment styles impact their personal and professional relationships. Outside of the clinical work, she is passionate about providing pyschoeducation to HR departments. HR professionals are often mystified by what is outside of their scope and need training in how to spot mental health red flags so they can ensure that their employees get the support that they need. She is also a “pawrent” to her beloved french bulldog, named Moose.
As a first responder for nearly 20 years, Eric is a professional problem solver. He has seen the best of humanity and the worst. He has witnessed leadership done right and leadership done wrong. Eric is passionate about applying his unique background to helping business owners step off their people’s toes and let them fly. When he isn’t supporting his local community as a firefighter or gardining with The Gardin Group, he is spending quality time with his son, Bohdi. In the future, Eric plans to create a nonprofit for at-risk boys and fund it through his Flourishing Fatherhood program. As the only man on the team, he brings a unique and important perspective to The Gardin.
